Why cant I browse the internet after watching a movie online?

After I watch an hour or so long movie online (not downloaded to pc), regardless of what site... when I attempt browsing after viewing the video, it does nothing. It doesn't even bring up the "timed out" thing. It's frustrating. It doesn't cut the internet out completely because AIM and utorrent still work.

3. it still takes a lot of operations to watch witch will slow down any pc just get a better pc or get used to it sorry to say
